When I first launched my business, I had no doubt that I'd be matching my 9-5 salary in no time. I was all starry eyed at the prospect of being a *boss bitch*, and I was filled to the brim with confidence that I’d have NO problem signing clients & selling out my offers..
...After all, I had *20* years of sales & marketing experience under my belt. Hell, I’d even spent the last 10 years teaching OTHER people how to sell!! I had it in the bag, babe *flicks hair* 💁🏻♀️
So imagine my horror when I realised that selling on Instagram was a totally different ball game. Despite a double-decade career in sales & marketing, I quickly found out I didn’t have a flipping clue how to market myself online.
I had to go back to the beginning, and relearn how to apply all of my skills and experience to the digital space. I realised that I needed help from someone who had the knowledge & experience that I was lacking, and I committed to filling in all my gaps.
Logically it made no sense to invest £5K in a coach when I had zero clients & no proof that my business would work, but I believed I was meant for more & I knew I needed help because there wasn't a chance in hell that I ever wanted to step foot back into a 9-5.
Shortly after that I sold out my first offer, and within 6 months I'd surpassed my previous corporate salary. I’ve helped clients go from making just enough to cover their mortgage, to earning their first £3k month, £5k month - consistent £6k, £10k months all while doing what they love.
I’ve been exactly where you are now. I’ve been the woman dreaming over her vision board and looking at others live their best lives wondering when it will be my turn to explode.
